My name is Brennen Tope, and I'm a freelance photographer.
I'm originally from smack dab in the middle of the United States, in a town called Davenport, Iowa. However, you'll find me traveling all over the place. My quest for the perfect shot has taken me to more than 40 states and 12 foreign countries. I am largely self-taught, with a lot of trial and error as well as determination.
I enjoy all types of photography, whether it be concerts, landscapes, portraits, or events. I enjoy discovering new and intriguing places on my travels, as well as rediscovering local landscapes.
My hope is that my photographs reveal my determination to capture a subject no matter the difficulty -- from taking a treacherous climb to lying in the middle of the road to heading out on the road less traveled in my 1982 VW van.
I strive to not just photograph people and places but to tell a story with them. I want to give the viewer an opportunity to see places and people as I interpret them, and to feel an emotion connected to the photograph.
I'm available for senior portraits, family photos, weddings, and everything in between!
